Camille Breuil

Camille Breuil is an architect and landscape architect with a dynamic multi-disciplinary
background. She is responsible for implementing Circular Strategies as a field in teaching at
the IoA, addressing the viable use of resources in architecture.

She studied design and applied arts at La Martiniere (LMD) in Lyon and architecture at the
Ecole Nationale d’Architecture Paris Val-de-Seine (ENSAPVS) in Paris, as well as the California Polytechnic State University (CalPoly) in San Luis Obispo, USA. She received her diploma with distinction.
In 2018, Camille joined the Scandinavian countries, where she worked for renowned firms
such as SLA and Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). Her career path intersected with a firm
commitment and passion to address global challenges, including climate change, sea level
rise and environmental risks. She tackles these issues head-on with innovative nature-based solutions and a deep exploration of the intricate relationship between built and grown environments. Her involvement at Studio Precht is strong and central. Projects there are deeply rooted in the Austrian landscapes. There is an emphasis on local timber craftsmanship with a sustainable mindset. Camille has a proven track record in leadership roles at BIG, Studio Precht and her own practice Beltrame Breuil, where she develops
projects from architecture to urban scales.
