Base Angewandte

 

The course addresses the main construction principles that are relevant for the production of physical objects of various sizes (architecture, furniture, everyday objects). These topics are presented and discussed in the weekly lectures and applied in the course of two full-day workshops. Combination with „Plandarstellung für Industrial Designer“ is recommended. The course is also recommended for students of architecture who want to brush up basic knowledge of building construction.

This semester’s design topic is a tea house.

Base Angewandte

 

Theoretical knowledge is taught about set up of plans, building regulations and architectural standards and is then applied in two full-day workshops. Combination with “Raum und Konstruktion/ Space and Construction” is recommended.
