Parametric planning for a sustainable green roof

 

NANU3 was a one-year study from 2021-2022 funded by FFG Austrian Research Promotion Agency and led by
the Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna.
The project aimed at the development of a parametric design tool for combined use of roof surfaces for greening
measures, energy generation and water treatment and retention, as a sustainable way to cool buildings, generate
energy and use water carefully and effectively, thus establishing small-scale material and energy cycles.
