The “Nuclear Plant, Ukraine” project examines the role, risks, and future of nuclear energy in Ukraine, focusing on its historical context, environmental impact, and geopolitical significance. The research explores how Ukraine’s nuclear infrastructure has evolved, particularly in relation to past incidents, ongoing challenges, and future energy strategies.
Through case studies, data analysis, and policy evaluation, the project investigates the consequences of nuclear energy reliance, including safety concerns, waste management, and its role in energy independence. Comparisons with international nuclear policies provide insight into best practices and potential improvements for Ukraine’s nuclear sector.
